By Alexi LalasThe Washington PostWashington PostWashington (AP) An ad from the NFL’s official website that features a white, bearded and heavily tattooed man reading a book to a woman with a tattoo of the words “America’s Team” was a major coup for the Seattle Seahawks.
The ad is part of a series of three ads designed to get the NFL brand noticed by advertisers in the United States.
It comes after the Seahawks have made headlines for their controversial anthem protests that drew national attention in the NFL, where players kneel and raise their fists in protest of police brutality and racial inequality.
The Seahawks’ ad features a man reading the book “The American Dream” to a girl with a small tattoo of “America” and a large, white tattoo of an NFL logo.
The Seahawks said it’s the only NFL advertisement they’ve run with the logo, which has a similar shape to the Super Bowl championship banners.
The Seattle Seahawks released a statement that read: “The Seahawks and their supporters have a very strong connection to the NFL.
They will continue to take their brand to the next level and make it a great place to live, play, and play in.”
The Seattle team also released a second ad featuring a man wearing a Seahawks uniform and holding a sign that reads “Team USA.”
Seattle Seahawks players are known to be passionate about their sports teams.
They’ve protested the national anthem before and are also known to have a tattoo on their back.
It’s not the first time a Seahawks team has been used in an NFL ad.
The Seattle Seahawks made an appearance in a 2011 commercial for the NBA’s New Orleans Pelicans.
In 2012, the Seahawks played a commercial in which a man with a giant red star on his chest and a tattoo above his left eye appeared to be in a fight with a woman.
That ad is still running in the U.S. on ESPN’s television channel, and the NFL is also using the same logo.
Advertisers say the Seahawks’ use of the NFL logo is an example of how the sport can appeal to the younger generation.
“They’re the perfect example of why the NFL has been able to make a significant, lasting impact on American society,” said Joe O’Connor, director of advertising for the NFL Players Association.
A spokesman for the National Football League said that the league has not had any involvement in the Seattle ad.
One of the biggest questions the NFL had about the ad was whether it was too close to the game and whether it could be viewed as racist.
The NFL’s response:It wasn’t a black person’s fight, said Matt Barrows, the NFL player association’s executive director.
It was a white person’s.
It’s about being a good team, he said.
It’s about playing to win.
The Washington Wizards, the NBA and Major League Soccer are also among the NFL teams that have used the logo in their commercials.
The logo has also appeared in other sports, including baseball, basketball, hockey, soccer, tennis, volleyball and swimming.
In the early 2000s, the Washington Redskins played a game on their stadium roof with the same image.
The NBA has not responded to a request for comment from The Associated Press.
